About

I am a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. I was raised in Istanbul, Turkey and came to Berkeley, California this year for my education. I have always been interested in design and its relation to Engineering. Taking a Design Methodology course, I learned about user-centered design processes and conducting design researches to produce a product; it has improved my creative thinking to solve problems and produce a product from an opportunity. In the future, I want to continue working in this area to improve my skills and knowledge by taking different classes and doing internships.

Moreover, photography is a major part of my life. I have taken beginner and professional level photography classes. I have advanced my photography skills by taking place at various school events and traveling to different cities around Turkey for numerous projects.
